My top 3 Grateful Dead shows, out of all the shows that I ever attended (approx 25 from 1970 to 1992), are all from 1970!
4-11-1970
6-4-1970
8-17-1970
I'm pretty sure I went to my first GD show on April 11th 1970, not the 10th (set list for the 10th exists but no audio)
because I'm fairly certain I saw them do Saint Stephen,
otherwise I would have been slightly disappointed if they hadn't played St Stephen,
the song that initially interested me in seeing them in concert after hearing it on the 1st live GD tape cassette I heard (prior to the April '70 show), when by chance walking by the back lawn at Lowell HS the song was just starting it's opening riff and hooked me right in.
